Greyhound and Amtrak Cooperate With Immigration Raids

(New York Times) Amtrak has agreed to cooperate with” Customs and Border Protection inspections on its trains “on a random basis within 75 miles of the border, writes Jennifer Lee in her New York Times blog.  Greyhound also said it simply complies with law enforcement requests, be it local, state or federal.…All you have to do is state you are a U.S. citizen, Mr. [Ramon] Rivera said of the Border and Customs Patrol.” He also denied that the agency was targeting Latinos.
